About BSB 2022<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Brazilian Symposium on Bioinformatics (BSB) is an international conference that covers all aspects of Bioinformatics and Computational and Systems Biology. The initial editions of BSB, in 2002, were called WOB (Workshop on Bioinformatics) and were indexed by DBLP; since 2005, WOB was renamed BSB. BSB is organized by the special interest group in Computational Biology (CE-BioComp) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As in past years, BSB2022 will accept both full papers (for oral presentation) and short papers. Proceedings containing accepted full and short papers will be published as a volume in the Lecture Notes in Bioinformatics series, from Springer. BSB2022 would like to attract contributions from academic and industrial researchers, both in the exact sciences (computer science, mathematics, and statistics) and in the life sciences (molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, medicine, microbiology, and others).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BSB and SBBD<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The BSB 2022 will be co-located with the Brazilian Databases Symposium (SBBD 2022)<\/a><\/strong>, which takes place between September 19 and 23. BSB subscribers will have the right to participate in the SBBD and vice versa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Venue<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The City of Buzios<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also scattered throughout the area are an abundance of restaurants-Japanese, French, Italian, Moroccan, Thai and Brazilian- and an array of live music shows, bars, night clubs and the Rua das Pedras (Street of Stones) in downtown Buzios, which ensure a thriving, electric night life. Local and international boutiques and art galleries with unique crafts and jewelry also are dotted along the shores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
