<\/p>\n

The Brazilian Symposium on Bioinformatics (BSB)<\/strong> is a well-established international conference that brings together researchers and practitioners working in all areas of Bioinformatics<\/strong>, Computational Biology<\/strong>, and Systems Biology<\/strong>. Since its inaugural edition in 2002, launched as the Workshop on Bioinformatics (WOB)<\/em> and indexed by DBLP, BSB has evolved into a premier event in Latin America. In 2004, it was officially renamed to BSB and has since been organized by the Special Interest Group in Computational Biology (CE-BioComp) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2025, BSB will be held in Fortaleza, Cear\u00e1, from 29th September – 2nd October, in conjunction with SBBD and BRACIS.<\/strong><\/p>\n

BSB 2025<\/strong> aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration by attracting high-quality submissions from both academic and industrial communities. We encourage participation from researchers in STEM<\/strong> (e.g.<\/em>, computer science, statistics, mathematics) and the life sciences<\/strong> (e.g.<\/em>, molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, medicine, microbiology, and related fields). We welcome the submission of original and unpublished<\/strong> research papers that explore novel computational techniques, tools, models, or insights in any of the topics outlined below.<\/p>\n

All accepted papers will be presented during the conference by at least one of the authors. Submissions will be evaluated based on scientific quality<\/strong>, relevance to the field<\/strong>, and originality of contribution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The BSB 2025 Proceedings<\/strong>, comprising both full and short papers, will be published in the SBC Open Library (SOL) <\/strong><\/a>specifically, in the BSB entry: \u00a0<\/a>https:\/\/sol.sbc.org.br\/index.php\/bsb<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All published papers will be Open Access<\/strong> and assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
