Information to participants and authors<\/strong><\/h1>

1) Proof of Chosen Category<\/strong><\/p>

Uploaded proof of your chosen category will be required upon registration in the registration system (ECOS) for categories that require some form of proof. Verification of this document may take up to 1 business day.<\/p>

Payment options will only be released after validation by the SBC team. Applicants will receive informative emails throughout all stages of their BSB 2025 registration process.<\/p>

2) Author Registration<\/strong><\/p>

Each Professional registration entitles you to the publication of a full article or short article in the BSB, or a full article in the proceedings of the SBBD, BRACIS, ENIAC, STIL, and KDMiLe events. Authors registered in other categories, or authors registered in the Professional category with more than one approved article, must include a Publication Fee of R$120.00 per additional article at the time of registration.<\/p>

For authors of abstracts in the BSB, the registration of one of the independent authors in the category is sufficient.<\/p>

When registering in the ECOS system, the author must complete the “Article Title” and “JEMS Article Number” fields in the “Articles” section, indicating the articles covered by that registration and associated publication fees. This eliminates the need to upload any supporting documents to JEMS.<\/p>

Registration will only be considered valid when its status appears as “Paid,” except for registrations by commitment note or invoice, which require longer processing time, and registrations by institutional members entitled to exemptions, which will be verified with the SBC.<\/p>

3) Payment Methods<\/strong><\/p>

Registration payments can be made via bank slip, credit card, debit from a Banco do Brasil account, commitment note, and invoice through the SBC registration system.<\/p>

Payments by bank slip and debit card close on September 27, 2025. Payments by credit card, commitment note, and payments will remain open until the last day of the event.<\/p>

For registrations by commitment note and investment, participants must access the system and complete the registration process, select the “commitment note” or “invoicing” payment method, and click “pay.” The system will then provide the information that should be included in the commitment note or invoice request.<\/p>

4) Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/p>

Up until September 9, 2025, you can refund 70% of your BSB registration fee. After this date, no refunds will be issued. This policy applies to both cancellation of your registration and any additional activities.
